Frequently asked questions
Is Kedilo Resume really free?
Yes — completely. The builder, live preview, unlimited PDF downloads, saving to your account, and publishing a share link are all free. No watermark, no download limit, no credit card, no trial, no paid tier.
Do I need to create an account?
We recommend a free account — it saves your resumes to the cloud, lets you keep multiple versions, and unlocks a public share link. You can also try the builder first without one, but your draft only lives in that browser.
Will my resume pass ATS screening?
Kedilo Resume templates are built for it: a single-column layout, real selectable text (never images), semantic structure, and the standard section headings parsers look for — Summary, Experience, Education, Skills.
Can I import my existing resume?
Yes. Upload your current PDF and Kedilo Resume pre-fills the form from it. The import runs entirely in your browser — your file is never uploaded to a server.
What do I get when I download?
A clean, print-perfect PDF with real, selectable text that both ATS software and recruiters can read. What you see in the live preview is exactly what downloads.
Can I share my resume online?
Yes. With a free account you can publish any resume at your own link — resume.kedilo.com/your-name/your-resume — and unpublish it whenever you like.
Are there different resume templates?
Yes. Kedilo Resume has a gallery of professional, ATS-friendly templates, and every design works with the same content — switch templates any time without retyping anything.
Can I write a cover letter too?
Yes. Kedilo Resume includes a free cover letter builder with the same live preview and one-click PDF download, so your application arrives as a matching set.
Can someone review my resume before I send it?
Yes — and it's one of Kedilo Resume's unique features. Publish your resume and share its review link: mentors, friends, or colleagues can pin comments directly on your resume, and their feedback shows up on your preview in the builder, where you can dismiss each note once it's addressed.
